In many countries, the elderly are well cared for and respected and for good reason Wisdom cannot be either taught or bought, it is experienced and learnt. So it would be a very good idea to shake that depression, accept that you are in your senior years and then find out in what way you can enjoy it, and if possible help other people in whatever way pleases you.
